TRAVEL DOCUMENTS & VISA REQUIREMENTS

Travel Documents

EU nationals

  • You have the right to travel freely to France carrying either a valid passport or a national identity card (ID card). Your travel document must be valid on the day of travel.

Non-EU nationals

  • Your passport should be valid for at least 3 months after the date you intend to leave the EU and it must have been issued within the last 10 years.

Visa Requirements

  • If you are from a country in the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA), you don’t need a visa to visit France.

  • You also do not need a visa for short visits (up to 3 months) if you have a passport from these countries:

  • Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Bermuda, Brazil, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Croatia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Hong Kong, Israel, Japan, Macao, Malaysia, Mexico, Monaco, Nicaragua, New Zealand, Panama, Paraguay, San Marino, Singapore, South Korea, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States, Uruguay, Venezuela.

  • If your country is not on the list, you will likely need a 3-month Schengen visa. This visa allows travel to 25 European countries, including France, without needing to show your passport at every border.

Travel information

  • When you register, please tell us your nearest train station or airport. We will book your travel based on this information, and times will match the conference schedule.

  • If a train is available from your location, we will choose this instead of flying to support our sustainability goals.

  • You need to arrange your own transport to the train station or airport in your country.

  • When you arrive in Paris, use public transport or a taxi to reach your destination. You can claim the cost through your usual expense process. More travel details for Paris will be shared in the agenda soon.

For any questions, contact the Events Team at recordati@xsem.co.uk, and they will be happy to help.
